AS THE CHILD IS BENT

Proverbs 22:6

Let's go the Lord in prayer together. Our Heavenly
Father, thank You for tabernacling among us during
this time of worship and praise and celebration. And
now we ask that You will speak clearly to our hearts
and to our lives. May we hear Thy word and Thy word
alone. Lord, let me get out of the way, and when we
leave this place and assembly, may all of us know that
we have indeed been with Thee and Thy son, Jesus
Christ. Lord, may we not only hear Thy truth, but may
we apply Thy truth to our lives and may we leave and
never be the same again because we have responded to
the revelation Thou hast given. For we make this
prayer in the strong, holy name of Jesus Christ, our
Savior and our Lord. Amen.

step this year. This step will change their lives
socially as much as any step that they will ever take.
What is this step? What will these 5 million +
Americans do? Simply this -- have children.

Now if you are already in this category, if you
already have a child or have children, let me remind

action is in the family. Rearing children. Now if you

children properly. I want to do it right. I want to
make the right decisions. I want to build into their
lives Godly principles. But where do I begin? Where is
the starting place? How does it move? How does it
work? And so we have to drop back and answer these
questions, and it begins with a very obvious thing --
you must love your child.

You say, "Of course, I love my child." But we can put
tests down to see if that love is genuine or it's just
sort of a sentimental thing that you are supposed to
do as a parent. But that's where it must ...
