TABLE MANNERS

I Corinthians 11:17-29



Let's bow for prayer together.

Father, we bow our heads and we close our eyes, we can go through all
the emotions of genuinely talking to you and yet not really talk to you.
In this hour, Father, we confess to Thee our needs. We confess to Thee
our fears. We confess to Thee our anxieties and, 0 Lord, we ask that
Thou would come and make Thyself known unto us. Where there is fear,
may we feel Thy presence. Where there is anxiety, may we feel Thy
contentment. Where there is doubt, may we feel the reassurance of
faith. Lord, do business in hearts and lives in this place. Speak to
us and then, 0 Lord, speak through us as we're able to tell others of
Thy grace of Thy love, of the answers that Thou doest give. Yea, for
the deepest needs in hearts and lives of Thy children. Lord, through
everything we do in this hour, you speak, may we not get confused with
the message or get confused with the eating of the bread to the drinking
of the cup and miss the symbol that's behind it all. For this is our
prayer in the strong name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
What is the difference between a Christian and a non-Christian? Basic-
ally, a Christian is called upon to be dependent upon the Lord Jesus
Christ. A non-Christian is independent and is dependent only upon
themselves and upon others, upon a name, or circumstances, or station in
life. We, as human beings, are called, we're made, we are designed to

be dependent upon the Lord. And those who go through their life crying ...
