BLOOM WHERE YOU ARE PLANTED

I Corinthians 7:17-38

Thank you Choir. My goodness, we've already had a great sermon. Thank
you. Hope you have your Bibles open to I Corinthians 7. Tonight, we'll
try to look at verse 17 through verse 35. 17 through 24, Paul has just
a general word about circumstances in which you find yourself in 25
through 35, he has four..three or four advantages to being a single.
Three in number. We could divide one of them in two. Advantage of
being single. As we begin our study, let's pray together.
Father, we're thankful to Thee for the presence of Thy Holy Spirit in
this service. For the fact that you are doing supernatural things in
our lives. For so many here, their thoughts are different; their words
are different; their interests are different; their homes, their lives
are different; their vocational endeavor is totally changed with a new
perspective and a new light. All because of Jesus Christ. Lord, we
thank you that in Your divine wisdom You did not coerce us into accept-
ing Him, but You waited lovingly and patiently until truly, lead by Thy
Spirit, convicted of our sins, we turned to Him and we praise You for
that turning. Lord, tonight You speak. Let me get out of the way so
that Thy Word and Thy Holy and Divine message may not only be heard, but
Lord may it be understood. You speak and just let me hide behind the
cross. Let me get out of the way is our prayer, in Jesus blessed and
Holy name. Amen.
