A BIBLICAL VIEW OF ILLICIT SEX
I Corinthians 5:1-13

I hope you already have your Bibles open to I Corinthians chapter number
five. As we bow for prayer together.

Father, we trust today we will not just hear your word, but we ask that
Thy word will penetrate the deepest, hardest areas of our lives. Lord,
we desire to be transparent in Thy presence and we trust that Thy Holy
Spirit will do that supernatural work of convicting and convincing, yea,
of cleansing many here with us in this place of worship. Oh Lord, you
speak, let me get out of the way, so that Thy Word and Thy Holy and
divine message might not only be heard, may it be received and under-
stood and applied right where we live. For we make this prayer in the
name that's above every single name, the name of Jesus Christ, our
Savior and our Lord. Amen.

Contrary to what you may believe, this is not the "Pepsi generation."
But I believe I can make a good case to convince you that this is,
indeed, the "sexy generation." You will be hard-pressed to find an
advertisement on television that does not exploit this area of living.
Sex appeal, that's the name of the game of those who are seeking to get
a product before us that we will buy, that will get our full attention.

Now, it is always been difficult for Christians to live on an island of
faith and Biblical belief when they are surrounded by a sea of paganism.

Because we know that that sea, that poluted sea of paganism continually
washes up on shores of our island and we see it as contaminated, it has
poluted so much about us. And, certainly, we know the area of sex is a
very sacred area but somehow in our generation it has become an area
that ha ...
