INTRODUCTION:
Some things are just too important to forget. On December 7th we remember Pearl Harbor. We remember when our country was attacked. President Franklin D. Roosevelt called it a day that would live in infamy. We remember 9/11. Again, when our county was attacked by terrorists. We remember those who lost their lives. Our nation has many dates like this. Dates that too important for us to forget. For you as I believers there is much that we cannot afford to forget. The reality of sin, the death of Christ on the cross, the soon return of Christ. We must remember these great truths.

This morning, I want to remind you of 5 truths that are far too important to forget.
The importance of Church attendance, the impact of your personal testimony, the power of intercessory prayer, the potential of generous giving, and command to live a Godly life.

I) FIRST, THE IMPORTANCE OF CHURCH ATTENDANCE -
Hebrews 9:24-25 - And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

A) CHURCH ATTENDENCE IS NECESSARY FOR BIBLICAL ASSURANCE -
I wish I knew how many times someone has said to me, ‘‘Preacher, I don’t have to come to church to be saved.’’ In one sense, that is true. No one is saved by going to Church. In fact, in Church every Sunday are some of the meanest, rottenest, low down, yellowbellied . . well you get the idea . . people. The only way that anyone is saved is by repenting of their sin, receiving Christ as their Lord and Savior. When someone is saved, I mean truly saved, they are changed. They are born again.
