John 1:42
As we look at a very familiar personality toni-ght in our study of the
apostles, the Apostle Peter. Verse 40, following:
"One of the two who heard John speak and followed him
was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother. He found first his
own brother Simon and said to him, 'We have found the
Messiah'(which translated means Christ). He brought him
to Jesus and Jesus looked at him and said, 'You are Simon
the son of John, you shall be called Cephas' (which trans-
lated means Peter)."
Let's pray together. "Lord, we get captured in worship, in the majesty of
music and praise and the uplift of prayer and the reading of Thy Word. But
Father, may we now listen for that undercurrent of truth.As we look at
biblical situations and principles, we ask that Thy Holy Spirit will take
these truths and apoly them right where we live so that everything about
this gathering will be relevant in bringing us into step with our Savior,
this same Jesus. Lord, You speak. Let me get out of the way so that Thy
Word and Thy holy and divine message might not only be heard, but may it
be received and understood and incorporated into our lifestyles. For we

Master's cabinet. You find them in Matthew, Mark, Luke and Acts. And in
all four of these lists, you will discover that Peter heads every list.
