corruption. And so as we read this promise, it has a frightening word of
warning that whatever you sow in your life; whatever I sow in my life that's
what is coming up. That's what we will harvest.
Now, if we sow good things, goodness will be produced! If we sow to the flesh
and vile things, vileness and fleshly things will be produced. So, it's one of
God's immutable laws - what you sow, you reap. If you sow to the wind, we read
in the Old Testament, you reap the whirlwind. And so I think we need to look
at our own lives and we see any problems we have; any besetting sins that plague
us, we need to remember that is what we're sowing. So we need to be careful
what we read, what we look at, what we listen to, the environment in which we
place ourselves because all of these things contribute to our psychic,
contribute to our mind and our personalities and that is what in time will come
up. As a man thinketh, that's what that man really is. So this is true
personally, in your life and in my life. As we sow, that's what we reap.
A lot of people are sowing good words; a lot of people are sowing a positive
word of witness; a lot of people are sowing kindness and graciousness and
understanding and that's what is coming back. We know that the Bible clearly
teaches us the Golden Rule and the Golden Rule simply stated we would paraphrase
it and say "Whatever you need that's what you give." If you need love, you give
love; if you need understanding, you give understanding; if you ...
