Scripture: EPHESIANS 1:3, EPHESIANS 2:6, MATTHEW 6:33, REVELATION 3:20-21

WHERE ARE YOU SITTING?
Ephesians 2:6
Open your Bibles if you would to Ephesians, Chapter Number 1, and also, I'm going
to turn over to Ephesians 2, and combine two verses. Ephesians 1, Verse 3, and
then immediately I'm going to turn over and we're going to read and fit it with
Ephesians 2, Verse 6. Ephesians 1:3 and Ephesians 2:6 just flow beautifully to-
gether. Ephesians 1:3 first:
BLessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who hath
blessed us with alL spirituaz btessings in heavenly pzaces in
Christ.
Now look at Verse 6 of the 2nd Chapter.
And hath raised us up together and made us sit together in
heavenzy places in Christ Jesus.
Let's pray together. "Father, we're grateful to Thee for the beauty of this day.
We're thankful for the attentiveness of this congregation; for the fact that so
many are here this morning hungry for a fresh, clear, uplifting word from Thee.
Lord, we wait expectantly upon what Thou art going to do in this place in this
hour. You speak. Let me get out of the way so that Thy word and Thy holy and
divine message might not only be heard, but may it be received and understood and
incorporated into our living. For we make this prayer in the name Jesus the Christ@,
Amen."

the word sit, and how many times it is used in symbol and in metaphor and in other
ways to describe a spiritual condition. Now we know what the word sit means. You
are seated. Someone will sit down. We understand that. It means to recline. Most
