Ephesians: Who Am I? Discovering Our True Identity
Jordan Easley
Ephesians 1:1-12

Who are you? ...really?

It seems like the whole world is currently wrestling with the topic of IDENTITY ... We live in a culture where people are ‘identifying’ as all sorts of things... People are picking their pronouns and defining themselves with characteristics that God never intended for them to have.

When I hear stories about that, I’m always left asking: WHY? Why are people so confused... when it comes to WHO they really are?

Maybe it’s because, from the time we’re born, we have so many different identities with so many different people.

Over the years, I’ve seen my identity evolve due to my personal experiences, and opportunities, and achievements and relationships.

I’ve been known by my strengths and weaknesses ... My perceived persona has been defined by my personality profile and my enneagram number... It’s been shaped by what my passions are... and what my profession may be.

‘‘Who Am I?’’ ...Discovering our True Identity.

In the weeks to come, we’re going to be walking through the book of Ephesians, which addresses this question head-on... and hopefully by the end of this series, each of us will have a better understanding of who we are... and who God designed us to be. If you have your Bible today, I’d like to invite you to join me in [Ephesians chapter 1].

This was a letter written by Paul to the church in Ephesus... We know that Paul wrot ...
