Elder Key (22 of 22)
Series: Keys of the Kingdom

Scripture: 1 Peter 5:1-4

Series Summary: This is an expository sermon series through I Peter. Jesus gave to Peter the ‘‘Keys of the Kingdom’’ (Matthew 16:19). ‘‘Keys’’ will be the uniting theme for the series.

Sermon Summary: The ‘‘Elder Key’’ sermon describes the elders who are to carry out their work in the church. 1) Older Men, 2) Pastoral men, 3) Hearty Men, 4) Glory men.

I haven’t preached on wives submitting to their husbands yet because I’m still waiting for Tami to approve my manuscript. But it’s coming - and I know you can’t wait.

In today’s passage Peter addresses another such relationship, i.e., the one between the elders and the members of a local congregati ...
