Micah 2

It was July 7, 1987. One of my favorite baseball players of all time, Andre ‘‘The Hawk’’ Dawson, took a fastball to the face. ‘‘The Hawk’’ had hit a homerun in San Diego against pitcher Eric Show and knocked him out of the game. Now, back in Chicago, in his first at bat, Dawson hits another homerun off Show. The next at bat, Show intentionally throws one up and in hitting Andre in the face above his left lip.

He went down and did not move for a couple of minutes. While he was down a brawl broke out on the baseball field. Andre slowly got to his feet. Blood was on his face and jersey. After gaining his balance ‘‘The Hawk’’ tore off into the fray like a raging bull. He was looking for one man and one man only, pitcher Eric Show. Show saw this bloodied and bloodthirsty man headed his way and he decided to head another. They even tried to shuffle him into the dugout to hide him, but Dawson burst through the crowd near the steps of the dugout and had to be restrained and calmed so the medics could take care of him.

We all know that sin is any actions ...
