1 Kings 18:1-16

I. Introduction

I want to talk to you today about fighting fear to take possession of God’s provisions. And I need to give you some bad news right up front: In this life, you’re never going to win the war against fear. Fear is never going to wave the white flag, it’s never going to lay down its weapons, it’s never going to give up entirely. Listen: We cannot win the war with fear, but we can win the daily battles.

Because no matter how much we work to get rid of them, they just keep coming back. Now if I use the right strategies, I can fight them off...I can keep them from being visible in my lawn...but if I stop fighting, they come right back...because the roots are too deep to be reached and dug out.

Fear’s a little bit ...
