Proverbs 16:18

Intro: This morning we continue our series in the Gospel according to Proverbs and today we are going to look at a theme in Proverbs we all struggle with but don’t want to admit: Pride.

Proverbs 16:18
Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.

Proverbs 8:13
The fear of the Lord is hatred of evil. Pride and arrogance and the way of evil and perverted speech, I hate.

Proverbs 29:23

Proverbs 26:12-16
Do you see a man who is wise in his own eyes?
