Rhythm Introduction (1 of 9)
Series: Rhythm
Steve Jones
Romans 7:15
SERIES SUMMARY: We all want to live an abundant life and a holy life but sometimes we struggle. To struggle less we must stay in “rhythm” with the Holy Spirit. This series is about how to stay in “rhythm” with the Holy Spirit by practicing what are traditionally known as the spiritual disciplines.
SERMON SUMMARY: In this sermon we “set the table” for the “Rhythm” sermon series by answering three questions: 1) Why Rhythm? 2) What does “Rhythm” look like? 3) How many will dance?

Rom.7:15 ‘‘I don’t really understand myself, for I want to do what is right, but I don’t do it. Instead, I do what I hate.’’
Rom.8:13-14 ‘‘If by the SPIRIT you are putting to death the deeds of the BODY, you will live. For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God.’’
These verses are like two paradigms. In Romans 7, Paul is struggling with his flesh, with s ...
