1. I once read about a preacher that was pulled over
by a highway patrolman. When the officer walked up to
his car he detected the smell of alcohol. He said to
the preacher, "Have you been drinking?" The preacher
replied, "Oh, no office, I'm a preacher. I haven't
been drinking." The officer noticed a thermos on the
front seat and asked, "What's in that thermos?" The
preacher replied, "Oh, that just water, officer." The
officer asked if he could see the thermos. He opened
the thermos to smell the contents. He then looked at
the preacher and said, "This is not water. This is
wine." The preacher shouted, "Well, glory to God. He's
done it again."

2. At the very beginning I want to say that the Lord
is in the miracle business. As we saw last week, there
is nothing impossible with God. I love Ephesians 3:20:
"Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly
above all that we ask or think, according to the power
that worketh in us." God is certainly able!

3. I think of something Ron Dunn said in one of his
books: "I have good news for you. There's nothing
wrong with you that a miracle wouldn't cure."1 I like
that. There may be someone here today that needs a
miracle in your life. I once again remind you that the
Lord is in the miracle business.

4. On one occasion Jesus and disciples passed a fig
tree that was full of leaves but had no fruit. The
Bible says Jesus cursed the fig tree. The next day as
they passed the fig tree and it had withered from the
roots. Peter said, " Master, behold, the fig tree
which thou cursed ...
