One day ... Wag came up missing. We looked ... no Wag. Heartbroken. To the point ... we bought a NEW WAG. - Then ... one year later ... WE FOUND WAG. - THE JOY! Now ... he has TWO WAGS. The only thing better than one of your favorite toys? TWO.

Have you ever lost something and then found it? - If it means something to you ... you celebrate it right? - Well God didn’t lose us ... we got our selves lost, humanity rebelled, wandered off in sin ... we left home so to speak. - But when someone gets FOUND ... Heaven celebrates. Did you know that?

Did you know God is in the FINDING BUSINESS? Anyone here today been FOUND? Aren’t you glad ... GOD FINDS PEOPLE ... HE SAVES PEOPLE. - God rejoices when the lost are found ... and so are we.

God is in the finding business, we should be too. ‘‘FOUND PEOPLE FIND PEOPLE.’’?
The next few weeks we are studying the parable, the story of The Prodigal Son. Someone said Charles Dickens called this story the GREATEST SHORT STORY. It teaches a GREAT TRUTH. - God receives and rejoices over repentant sinners coming home ... and we should too.

Luke 15:1-2 - Now the tax collectors and sinners were all drawing near to hear him. 2 And the Pharisees and the scribes grumbled, saying, ‘‘This man receives sinners and eats with them.’’ Two key groups here: Tax collectors and sinners and Pharisees and the scribes. The pharisees and scribes- The Pharisees (Separatists) were a group of laymen devoted to the keeping of the law. The scribes were those who taught the law.The sinners were those who did not keep their oral traditions or failed to keep the law rather ceremonial or moral in some way.
