I heard a story about a husband and wife and they were getting ready for bed. And they’re both in their 60s, and the wife was looking in the mirror. And she just got this sad look on her face as she just studied her reflection in the mirror. And she said to her husband, ‘‘You know, when I look in the mirror, I see a wrinkled old bag. I see that my chin has dropped and now I have a double chin. And my body is flabby. My thighs are flabby.’’ She said, ‘‘I just don’t like what I see at all.’’ She said, ‘‘I need you to tell me something about my body that would make me feel better about myself.’’ And he looked at her and he said, ‘‘Well, you’ve got good eyesight!’’ Not what she was looking for.

Introduction:
The Apostle Paul is writing this letter to a church that is facing many problems! One of the problems that they were facing was pride and jealousy! God wanted them to understand that we will all be judged at the Judgment seat of Christ, and that we must be faithful to fulfill God’s calling on our life! He calls some to be Evangelists, preachers, teachers, singers, musicians, mowing the grass and cleaning up the church just to name a few! Every person has been selected by God to do a job for Him that only you can do! We all have designer’s genes! God molded us and threw the mold away and some of us are more moldy than others, but we have been given a job so that we can serve the Lord!

We are to be good stewards of the grace of God!
