Psalms 33:12 says this, ‘‘Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen for His own possession.’’ Of all the nations which have ever been established, conceived, or made, the USA is without a doubt the greatest Nation to ever grace the face of the earth. Some 246 years ago that those 56 men signed the Declaration of Independence knowing the risks, the dangers, and the struggle. But because of their deep thinking and deep religious beliefs they changed history. Interwoven into our founding documents are deep religious beliefs. For years I have heard this, ‘‘America will be great as long as she is good, but...’’

Our spiritual foundation and moorings have been all but demolished and uprooted by leaders who do not think as deeply and as spiritually. We have now become world leaders in all the wrong things, like evil, violence, immorality, etc. It is true we now have the potential to save the unborn, but that work is just starting. Ruth Graham said, ‘‘God will either judge the USA or have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah.’’ We are a nation on a collision course with Creator God.

In 2 Chronicles 15, we will read a story about a King of Judah named Asa. Chapter 14:2 tells us that Asa did what was good and right in the sight of the Lord HIS God and that the land had peace for 10 years. He became a mighty King with an army of 280k, but they face an army of 1m. King Asa took a nation and made it better. He saw the needs and gave leadership to the people. Let’s read about this and learn.
