How to Overcome People Pleasing:

‘‘To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law ... so as to win those under the law. To those not having the law I became like one not having the law ... so as to win those not having the law. To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. Decrease My Focus On What the People Around Me Think About Me. ‘‘But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by a human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself.’’ 1 Corinthians 4:3 (NKJV)

Increase My Focus on What God Thinks About Me ‘‘As soon as Jesus was baptized, He went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on Him. And a voice from heaven said, ‘This is My Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased.’’’ Matthew 3:16-17 (NIV)
