Introduction: These are important days in the life of our church.
And these days come with regularity every year. It is time when we
wind down the last days of our year 1999 and anticipate with joy
and enthusiasm 2000. Some of our got excited, while others of us
looked and said, "Is it that time again?"
In the time of stewardship in the months of October and November
is the time to commit ourselves to the outreach of our church in
2000. We do this in one way, through a budget. Now, what is a
budget? It is nothing more than what we feel in our hearts God

Corinthians 16:2.
1 Corinthians 16:2, Paul says to the New Testament church, "Upon
every day of the week let everyone of you lay in store by him as
God has prospered." In other words, we are to bring our tithes and
offerings on the first day of the week as God has blessed us and
prospered us during that week.
And in Matthew 6:33, Jesus sums it all up by saying, "But seek ye
first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things
shall be added unto you."
Inevitably, there are some that say, "Here we go again. The
preacher is going to talk about money," and that's right! I've had
people say, "Well, I come to church, and every time I come to
church I heard a message on money." My friend, if you did, you
only came one a year. So maybe that says something abo ...
