Intro: A song when I was in high school - ''Doing What Comes Naturally.'' A lot of folks are still doing that. It's time we had better be doing what comes supernatur- ally.

Three classes of human beings in the world, but closer to home in this auditorium this morning.

He that is spiritual 2:15 He that is worldly 3:1 ''carnal''

You are in one of those three classes today! Upper class/lower class - some classify according to the Blue Book of society, or bank book of finance but God has a classification according to truth. His book the Bible. You classify yourself.

ILL. Dr. R. G. Lee preached a hard message against sin. One day a lady met him at the door. ''Dr. Lee, I didn't appreciate that message one little bit. Dr. Lee said, ''The devil didn't either, so classify yourself.''

So you are one of these three today.

This scripture is a road map to maturity.

I. THE NATURAL MAN

1. Born into the natural world.

By nature a natural born sinner.

Ephesians 2:3 ''We are by nature the children of wrath.''

Natural man born only once, physically.

ILL. Vice-President Rockefeller -when asked about Jimmy Carter's being born again. ''Have you been born again?'' ''I certainly have not been born twice. I was lucky to have been born the first time.'' I pray God before he died he was born twice. In hell people don't feel they are lucky to have been born the first time.

Jesus spoke of one man and said, ''It would have been better for that man had he not been born.'' If you are born only once you die twice, if you are born twice you die once.

2. He is blind to the spiritual world.

''Receiveth not'' ie to welcome. The natural man has no interest or appreciation for spiritual ...
