A World at War and The Enemy Behind the Enemy

Ephesians 6:11
This morning, my intention was to preach on the life of Joshua... but as I laid in bed last night, I was watching Russian missiles hit Ukrainian buildings... I was watching tanks run over innocent civilians... I was watching evil clip after evil clip, and as I did... God spoke to my heart and clearly said-'You need to tell them the truth about this war.'
And I know how that sounds. It sounds like I'm saying ... I know something the world doesn't know about this conflict. But the longer I've listened, the more I've become convinced... that... The world is truly confused today... and many people assume they know what this war is all about, and they really don't.
Some believe it's about oil or money... Others believe it's about power and control... Some say it's about a dictator trying to overthrow a newly-elected democratic government... (and at first glance, most of us would probably assume the same...)
But as I layed there last night... thinking about this war... thinking about all the evil that's taking place... thinking about the ungodly leadership making so many destructive decisions... God reminded me of what he told us in...
[Ephesians 6:11] ''Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the schemes of the devil.
Right here, that word 'devil' - it literally reads 'adversary.' God defines him as the 'enemy' ...
[v. 12 goes on to say... ] For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against evil, spiritual forces in the heavens.''
Evil has a name-and his name is Satan
Satan has a game-and his game is Struggle
The Bible says... Satan has schemes... and his schemes are the struggle.
This says-For our struggle is not against flesh and blood-Our STRUGGLE is against HIM!
