INTRODUCTION: What's the most impressive house you have ever seen personally. A couple of months ago, I toured the Biltmore house. Though it is no longer a private residence, the Biltmore (the Vanderbilt home), in Ashville, NC, is the largest home ever built in the US. Completed in 1895, it has 4 acres (about 175,000 square feet) under roof, and has 250 rooms, 65 fireplaces and 43 bathrooms. It's a nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there. Who wants to clean 43 bathrooms?
Now think about this: God wants to build a SPIRITUAL house on earth in which He can live (in Florida, of course!). It's called THE CHURCH! Peter puts it this way in I Pt 2:5 ''You also, as living stones, are being built up as a SPIRITUAL house''.
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is critical to that spiritual house making it an EASTER house. So today let's talk about God's EASTER house by looking at the three types of ''stones'' mentioned in I Peter 2.

Is.28:16 ''See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation.''
Jesus identified himself as that cornerstone.
Mk.12:10 ''The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone''.
As a side-note, Jesus knew whereof he spoke wh ...
