The Repentance Road to Revival (3 of 4)
Series: Church Sins

Matthew 9, John 11, Ezra 10:1
When I was a Director of Missions, I discovered there were some church facilities that were initially hard to find. In fact, you had to know the road in that rural area fairly well to get to the building. The first time I went to the church which is now pastored by Bro. Perry Robbins, I got lost twice. It's a beautiful building with wonderful people and it's really not difficult to find, IF YOU KNOW WHERE YOU'RE GOING. Today, I can direct someone there without even thinking about it, but that's because I am so familiar with the way. I found the way because I wanted to go.
Traveling the Repentance Road to Revival is not a familiar journey. It's not going to say it's our fault, it's just that we don't really know the way because we have never traveled the road before.
How do I know this? It's because of our language. Already, I hear us saying, ''Invite people to our Revival.'' I know that a cultural and traditional word and I hope and I pray it turns into a revival. A week of meetings does not a ''Revival'' make - the week of meetings gives space and time us to get honest with GOD so He can do what He truly wants to do - MOVE!
When He moves, we will be moved. The hardest heart, most stubborn mind, and coldest soul, will be moved. To get to where God shows up, means we travel the road to meet Him. Luke 15 gives us a view of God. He is watching and waiting for the prodigal to travel the road back home.
As best as I can and with the Lord help, I'm turning on that streetlight, so it is visible to travel. If there is to be a Spiritual, powerful, landscape changing, mind-altering, Heaven sent, Holy Spirit filled revival, these are the starting points. Repentance lights up the roadway - 10 deadly sins...
10) Weak Pulpits-I must preach the truth in love. TRUTH: We are sinners, God loves us. LOVE - He sent Jesus to save and the Holy Spirit to fill ...
