Love the Church, Like Jesus (7 of 7)
Series: Be Like Jesus
Donald Cantrell
Matthew 16:13-20

Theme: ''Jesus loves the church, what about you?''

I - The Great Question
II - The Glaring Quandary
III - The Glorious Quantification
IV - The Genuine Qualities

This sermon contains a fully alliterated outline, with sub-points.

It seems that we live in a world that assumes you can have Jesus and not his church, which is about as absurd as saying you're a swimmer, but you just can't swim in water. We live in an upside down world, one where suddenly gender is debatable, where suddenly a person decides that that they are no longer their birth gender, so they declare to become the opposite sex and we are all supposed to agree with them, is that not absolutely ignorant?

There are some things that go together; they are synonymous with each other. In our day and age if you heard the name Sonny, you had to assume the word Cher was soon to follow. If you heard the name Batman, you assumed that Robin would follow. I want to give you some synonymous words and you tell me which word should follow.
