We were built in the beginning of time to last for a life time. Adam and Eve were built to last forever in God’s Presence. They had everything they needed and yet we know they rebelled against God.

I. Our Original DNA Was Built To Last
A. Adam and Eve were not created to die.
1. The original DNA was in them to live in fellowship with God.
2. They were not created with death in mind.
B. They had everything they needed.
1. They were secure and significant.
2. They did not have to perform for anything. They were freely given everything.

What Happened?
II. Satan Offered What They Already Had. Genesis 3:4
A. Satan said they can become like God.
1. If they do then they will become.
2. It is to do then become.
Key Pt: He was telling them to perform to get what God had freely given to them.

B. Satan has not changed since Genesis.
1. He tells us we have to do something to become something.
2. We have to perform for what God freely gives us by Grace!
