EZRA - Praising the God Who Rebuilds and Restores

At first, it appears to be a book about rebuilding Jerusalem and the temple. But it's more about God rebuilding a people for the ultimate glory of Jesus. The work of God is never about building a building. It's about building a people for the glory of the Lord Jesus.

I have been amazed at how the building project in Zerubbabel's day parallels the work of God in my own life. We are going to see that clearly in a 2-part message that will cover all of chapter 5 and the first half of chapter 6.

2. What Satan will do
3. (Next lesson) What God will do

1. The submission to God's Word (1-2)

The people needed reviving. And God did not send a light show, a Jewish comedian, or a former Mrs. Jerusalem to share a testimony. He sent 3 leather lunged prophets of God. For during this time, they were prea ...
