Praising the God Who Rebuilds and Restores

As I've told you the last two weeks, chapters 9-10 really tell one long story. It's the story of God's people getting right with God. It's the story of people recognizing their sin, getting broken over their sin, and demonstrating that brokenness with repentant living.

The work of God is never about building a building. It's about building a people for the glory of the Lord Jesus. Building a building may involve using brick and mortar. But to build a people, it takes the preaching of the word of God and our full, total, and complete compliance with it.
