Philippians 2:8-11
Key Scripture: Philippians 2:8 Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. 9 For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (NAS)

A position of supremacy
Master
Owner
Emperor or King
Sovereign
Prince or Chief
Father
In the Old Testament, it is representative of:
Adonai - more personal - MY LORD
Elohim - Mighty God, Creative and Governing Power, In its plural form the Godhead or the Trinity.
Yahweh (I AM) - the Lord, the One Who was, Who is, and Who is to come. The Jewish leaders of Jesus’ day understood the Name Yahweh which means I AM. It’s the same I AM that Moses told Pharaoh who sent h ...
