Encountering Jesus will lead us to the Great Unknown. A Life that now is not based on what I feel and see. A life that is not just governed by natural mind, will or emotions. A life is beyond what I can literally understand in my own understanding. It is the Great Unknown called Faith In God.


Text: Genesis 12:1-3, Hebrews 11:6, 2 Corinthians 5:7

I. Walking by Trust In God

A. We are people who walk by Faith

1. Putting our Trust in God who we cannot see over things we can see.

2. Our everyday actions are tied to God who we believe is directing our steps.

Key Pt: Notice we don't believe by faith but rather walk by Faith. In other words
We have gone beyond just believing but moving in action.

Walking is forward motion heading towards a specific destination.

Remember if you can feel God and see God all the time then you don't need
Faith. Faith says I believe despite of what I feel or what I don't feel.

B. Faith is not ignoring reality but recognizing a greater one.

1. Our human perception is only one perception.

2. The natural is real but limited. There is another realm that is greater

Key Pt: Faith is unreasonable only within a restricted worldview that denies God
The right to intervene. His intervention is highly rational from a Biblical
Perspective.

So how does all this happen? It always begins with God himself.






II. The Call Genesis 12:1-3

A. God comes and speaks to Abram Genesis 12

1. He says to it is time to leave all that you know

2. He says it is time to get up and begin to move

Key Pt: God did not tell him where he was going but to simply pack up
And start moving and God would show as began to move.

B. Could it be that God has spoken and is waiting for your response

1. All I need to know is that God has spoken and now I respond.

2. God has spoken He is my prov ...
