under the authority of) Adorn yourselves with the
spirit cosmetics of a quiet gentle spirit so treasured
by God.

Likewise - God's Word is a reciprocal word. It never
places all the responsibility or duty on one side.

slaves - masters children - parents

Any marriage must be based on reciprocal duty and
reciprocal obligation. But someone must lead.

THINGS:
1. Love - his wife
God commands this (5:25) not mine - not even
Paul's - God's through him.

How? A. Sacrificially - "even as Christ also
loved the church and gave His life for it."
We are the church by faith in Christ. He
died for us - sacrificially.

What kind of "love" is this?
- not physical love - some marry on this level -
doesn't last
- not just human love
- not just emotio ...
