We all believe there is power in the gospel to save. The Father has invested His creative power in the gospel of Jesus Christ so that those who believe become His brand new creations. We all believe in this kind of power but how about the power to change - to transform - our very character and total identity.

The word ''transform'' is defined as ''to make a through or dramatic change in the form, appearance, or character of something or someone.''

There is power in the gospel to both save us and transform us if we'll only trust the Lord.

PAUL'S TRANSFORMATION WAS TIMELY
20 Immediately he preached the Christ in the synagogues, that He is the Son of God.

Paul was one thing one day and the next day he was something totally different. I believe this is how God's transformative power works. Please understand that becoming like Christ is a process. Nobody does that overnight. But, after salvation we have every right to expect that we will see some immediate differences.

Sometimes it seems like Christianity is one step forward and two steps back? Living for Christ can be a struggle even after salvation but after we get saved we will never again think of our lives apart from that time when we came to faith in Christ.
