In these five Character Studies we will do a first person characterization of how it might have been with Joseph, Mary, the Shepherds, the Wisemen, and lastly Jesus. You can use these to characterizations to help your church go back to that first Christmas setting and grasp the emotions and the enormity of that sacred time in history. These five characterizations would be very useful if you dressed up or allowed someone else to dress up and have the moment narrated before your audience, letting them sense the emotions of the moment firsthand.

Character 5 ''Jesus''

There would not have been any need for the stories of Joseph, Mary, the Shepherds, or even the Wisemen, if it had not been for me. If you go through the bible you will find around 700 various names or identities that are describing me or associated with me.

On earth my story begin at the manger, that is where the shepherds came to see me and on that very night the Wisemen saw my light or my star, which was really none other than the Shekinah glory of God, my father. The New Testament begins with my birth, my life, my death, then my resurrection, the beginning of my church and ending with my coming.

In the Old Testament my story begin in the Book of Genesis, where God predicted that I would come to redeem man from the curse of sin that was invoked upon mankind due to Adam's willful sin in eating the fruit.

Gen 3:15 KJV - And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

My real story began before this earth was ever even spoken into existence. It seems that mankind still struggles with the character and attributes of my father. He is all knowing, so even before he created man, he knew that there would be a day when Adam would sin, so he had already devised a plan of redemption to rescue man from h ...
