If we would take a moment to look around our world and society, we would find that we're not living in the best of times. There is a lot of devastation and destruction going on in the physical realm, and believe it or not, there are many full blown attacks taking place in the spiritual realm as well. A close look will reveal to us that the attacks in the spiritual realm are primarily focused in one direction - towards the family - which is the core of our society. We can see how each subtle attack just seems to grow and continues to work at tearing down the very fiber of life. The California Supreme Court disregarded the will of the people of this state and ruled effective June 17, 2008, that same-sex couples can legally be joined together in marriage, an institution that God established before the foundation of the world, yet are making a mockery of it by doing it their way and not God's way. And on June 26, 2015, the U. S. Supreme Court handed down a ruling that same-sex marriage was legal in America.

The Apostle Paul reminds us in 2 Timothy 3:1-2, ''1 This know also, that in the last days, perilous time shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy.'' We've living in the middle of it and if there's ever been a time that men need to be fathers, now is the time!
