Safe in His Arms

John 6:36-40

Security is something that everybody likes and wants. At home, we lock our doors; we make sure our cars are locked when we get out of them, and we sometimes lock our doors when we're in our cars when we see somebody that looks suspicious.

Our world and recent events have caused us to look at security from an entirely different perspective. We've got PIN numbers on everything, you can't get on a plane without going through TSA, and that security is not 100%! It has the ability to break through the barriers of doubt and disbelief and let us know that everything is going to be all right. It's confirmed for us when Jesus told us in John 14:1, ''Let not your hearts be troubled, if ye believe in God, believe also in me.'' It transcends time and existence to confirm for us that our living is not in vain when we know the One who is from ''everlasting to everlasting.'' A high place has the potential to keep us from hurt, harm, and danger and eternity means forever, and ever, and ever. When we know Jesus, we can know that we are Safe in His Arms.

Man ...
