Resurrected, Just Like He Said He Would!

John 2:18-22
Easter Sunday, to the world, and Resurrection Sunday, to the Christian community marks a day in which we reflect and remember that Jesus the Christ did something that no other person has ever done. It is a day that confirms and testifies to the defeat and victory over death and shows the power of our Lord. This is the day in which we celebrate and rejoice in the finished work of our savior.
What makes this day so significant is what the Lord did; it recognizes and remembers that He rose from the dead. This is central to our belief because we believe that the gospel of Jesus Christ is reflected in the death, burial, and resurrection of our Risen Savior. The Apostle Paul makes this clear in 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 which reads, ''3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 and that He was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.'' Again, this is significant in that there is a mindset in our society and a thought process that says ''all roads lead to heaven'' is a statement that has no spiritual foundation whatsoever. When it comes to religion, there are many different ways society may try to get us to follow, and each one of these religious factions has a central figure. For example:
In Islam, you have Allah, and his prophet Mohammed.
In Buddhism, you have Buddha.
In Hare Christna, you immediately think of the people asking for money in airports and other places.
In Mormonism, the emphasis is on the prophet Joseph Smith and his alleged visitation by an angel named Moroni.
In society, the god of ''me'' where the world revolves and centers on everything pertaining to an unholy trinity: ''me, myself, and I.''
If you remove the central figure, you don't have anything to stand on. Christianity works the same way...if you take Christ out of Christianity, you come u ...
