How Long Will You Refuse?
Dr. Darrow Perkins
Exodus 10:1-6
Have you ever wondered or considered where the phrase ''hard-head'' came from? There are people in our society who live up to that phrase every day. We come across people that no matter what you tell them or how you try to help or assist them, they still will not bend, but will continue to do things their way. The real tragedy here is that in most cases, they know what they're doing is not best for them, but because they can, they will! For example, people with hyper-tension are told to watch their salt intake and be careful of fried foods and pork, yet they eat them every chance they get because they can! People with substance abuse problems are told to stay away from situations or environments that can cause them to abuse those same substances, but they go around them, all because they can! They refuse to heed the advice and counsel of people around them and find themselves ''reaping the rewards of their disobedience.'' For just a little while, let's consider the question, ''How Long Will You Refuse?''

The word ''Exodus'' means ''departure, going out, exiting out, or a road out'' and this book shows us how God brought His chosen people out of bondage. Exodus is known as ''The Great Book of Salvation, Redemption, and Deliverance'' as God is seen:
''Saving His people from Egyptian slavery (Exo 1:1-11:10)
Redeeming His people from the judgment of death through the Passover Lamb (Exo 12:1-13:16)
Delivering His people through the trails of the wilderness wanderings (Exo 13:17-18:27).''
God has sent Moses and Aaron to talk with Pharoah because he's still doesn't want to acknowledge that God is God! Their mission w ...
