In this world in which we live, it's good to know that somebody is looking out for us. As we live day to day, there are many uncertainties that we are approached with and come across. We don't always know why things come to us the way they do, but it's good to know that we can call on somebody to be there for us during those times and situations. What's even better is knowing that even though you can't control all things around you, somebody out there is in a position to make a difference for you, especially when you can't see a way out.

Knowing the condition of the world, God saw fit to send somebody our way to show us the way.
Knowing the condition of the world, God saw fit to ensure that our ultimate destruction was taken away from us.
Knowing the condition of the world, God saw fit to take care of us when we couldn't take care of ourselves.

He did this in and through the person of Jesus the Christ. Because God loved us, ''He Came For Us''.

The text is found in the Gospel according to Matthew. Matthew was a publican, a Jew who had become a tax collector for the Romans. His Gospel was written to the Jews so he could share with them Jesus as the Messiah-King. This gospel has some unique characteristics. The Preacher's Outline and Sermon Bible has said that it contains the following special features.

''It's called the Ecclesiastical Gospel because down through the ages, it has been widely used by the church due to how the material is arranged for comprehension and application.
