Do You Have the Faith? (Stop Dragging Your Feet!)
Dr. Darrow Perkins
Acts 14:7-10
According to Hebrews 11:1, faith is ''the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.'' As believers in Jesus Christ, Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 5:7, ''For we walk by faith and not by sight'' which tells us that we cannot allow what we see to determine and dictate to us how we should accept things in life. Believe it or not, our eyesight can play tricks on us and reveal to us things that are not actually there. For example, a magician is really an illusionist and follows after the theme, ''the hand is quicker than the eye.'' He does tricks and makes you think he's doing what he said he's doing. The problem is, he didn't do anything and people are amazed at what he hasn't done.
We sometimes find ourselves with problems that need to be fixed and really the only thing that can help us is our faith in God. Do you have any problems today? Have you given up on your problems? Do you think anything can be done about your problem? The answer lies in your faith in God and His ability to make possible an impossible situation. The question today is, ''Do You Have the Faith?''

And in Chapter 1, verse 8 it reads, ''But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.'' This l ...
