Theme: We would be happier if we expressed more thanks to others

Phl 1:1 KJV - Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:

Phl 1:2 KJV - Grace [be] unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and [from] the Lord Jesus Christ.

Phl 1:3 KJV - I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,

Phl 1:4 KJV - Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,

Phl 1:5 KJV - For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;

WE NEED EACH OTHER

Edward Everett during the 19th century said:

We ask the leaf, ''Are you complete in yourself?'' and the leaf answers, ''No, my life is in the branches.''

We ask the branch, and the branch answers, ''No, my life is in the trunk.''

We ask the trunk, and it answers, ''No, my life is in the root.''

We ask the root, and it answers, ''No, my life is in the trunk and the branches and the leaves. Keep the branches stripped of leaves and I shall die.''

So it is with the church. Nothing is completely and merely individual. We need each other.

Value is determined by what we give in exchange
