General George Patton during World War II was seldom at a loss
for words. What he said during a battle in North Africa may be legend, but it typified him. Patton's troops and tanks were engaged in a successful counterattack against German forces
under the leadership of General Erwin Rommel.

Patton is reported to have shouted in the thick of battle, ''I read your book, Rommel! I read your book Rommel! And that he did.
In Rommel's book titled Infantry Attacks, the famed ''Desert Fox''
carefully detailed his military strategy from his experiences in World War I in which small units were able to capture larger numbers of enemy soldiers. And Patton, having read it
and knowing what to expect, planned his moves accordingly.

1. Satan will accuse us of our motives in serving God.
Satan accused Job of only worshipping God because God had been good to him. Job 1:10 You have put a hedge around him and his house and all that he has, on every side. You have blessed the work of his hands and his possessions have increased in the land.

2. Satan will lead us to sin by making bad decisions.
In I Chronicles 21 Satan incited David to count the number of soldiers throughout the whole nation of Israel rather than trust
God to protect them. Afterward David was filled with guilt.

Satan is opposed to God and his goal is to get people oppose
the plan and will of God however and whenever they can.
