Doing Good (10 of 10)
Series: Live Free - A Study of Galatians
Craig Smith
Galatians 6:1-10
Introduction
Hey welcome to Mission Hills. So good to have you with us today.
If you're just joining us, for the past few weeks in our Live Free series, we've been exploring one of the major obstacles to freedom which is that we don't really understand what freedom is. Specifically, we tend to think of freedom in terms of what we're free from, but we often fail to focus on what we're free for. And as we've said several times, if we don't lean in to what we're free for, we'll drift back to what we're free from and we'll fail to experience real, lasting freedom.

Why don't you go ahead and grab a bible and start making your way to Galatians 6:1?
Last week Paul gave us some broad insights into what it looks like if we're cooperating with the Holy Spirit in our lives...what we call the fruit of the Spirit. Today what he's going to give us is some specific things we need to do to practice cooperating with the Holy Spirit in our lives. Let me show you what I mean.

What Paul means by ''you who live by the Spirit'' is just the followers of Jesus who are seeking to indulge the other-centeredness of the Spirit. So this is all of us who are looking to be more other-centered. And what does he say other-centered people do?
