Forgiveness (6 of 10)
Series: Major on the Majors

Luke 2:11
[Luke 2:11] says, ''Today in the city of David a Savior was born for you, who is the Messiah, the Lord.''
Someone once said...
If our greatest need had been information, God would have sent us an educator; If our greatest need had been technology, God would have sent us a scientist; If our greatest need had been money, God would have sent us an economist; If our greatest need had been pleasure, God would have sent us an entertainer; but our greatest need was forgiveness, so God sent us a Savior.
This is one of my favorite weeks of the year! As we celebrate Christmas... we celebrate a Savior that came to forgive us and save us and give us hope! And as followers of Jesus, that's what this week is all about. That's what this life is all about. It's about walking with God and becoming more like His Son... every single day.
There are some things about the Christian life... that seem to come more naturally than others. For instance... for me, it's pretty natural to pray. It's pretty easy to be kind to other people. Giving back to the Lord... or Sharing Jesus with other people- those things have become very natural for me as I've matured in my faith.
But as some things are easier than others... and some things come very naturally in our walk with Christ... there are OTHER things that... to this day... are still very hard for me to apply to my life (and I'm sure... they are hard for you as well).
What are some things that God calls you to do... that you still find difficult to do?
Forgiveness would be at the top of that list for many of us.
I'll be honest.... Most of the time, when someone wrongs me, I don't want to forgive them! And most of you probably don't wake up in the morning and say-''I'm looking forward to forgiving someone today!'' ...Right?
Forgiving people that hurt you... forgiving people that disappoint you... Forgiving people that wrong you... probably ...
