Introduction

1. I must admit that when this quarantine stay at home order first hit, I thought to myself, ''Now I can get some rest, can have a more leisurely pace, and get more things done.'' The dream wore off after about two days. I am tired. I am tired of staying home. I'm tired of catching up. I'm tired of being busier than I have ever been. I'm tired of seeing nothing but the inside of my house and my front yard and my back yard most of the time. I thought it might be my imagination until I read this, ''Using internal data NordVPN found that the average workday has increased by almost 40% in the U.S. or an extra three hours a day which means Americans have been working 11 hour days. It is the largest increase in working hours in the world...

2. Frankly, I have never wanted a vacation more in my life. I never wanted to get away more in my life. I have never wanted just to leave everything behind and go decompress in my life. Far from my SandS, I need some rest and relaxation from my stress and strain.

3. Then, I remembered that God is not quarantined. God is the one who came up with the whole idea of rest to begin with. He wants us to rest easy every day regardless of what is going on around us, behind , or even before us. I know that because of the series we are in that we are calling ''Pitch Perfect.'' It is about how soothing to the nerves that music can be. There is no more soothing song that has ever been written than the 23rd Psalm. [Turn to Psalm 23]

4. The deeper that I dig into this psalm, the more buried treasure I find that I had never thought of or seen before. There has never been anything that has been written or sung that is more needed today than the most famous psalm in the Bible and the greatest song ever written. Someone once took the 23rd Psalm to describe the problems we face with stress, strain, work, and worry and quarantines.
