Jonah 3
Let us open our Bibles and continue in our story about Jonah. This story is not just history, but how a perfect God moves in the heart of an ordinary man's life. This is how the Lord gets our undivided attention to do the Lord's will.
In the story of Jonah, the Lord also reveals His heart to us all. Ready? Let us pray, ''Father God Almighty, open our hearts to see Your heart, to see how you move in us imperfect lives. Help us see how You want to reach the lost. Help us to see how You find ordinary men and women pushing them to become extraordinary men and women of God. In the name of Jesus amen and amen.''

The Lord could have thrown Jonah away because of his rebellion; but God did not throw Jonah, or me away. The Lord 's desire is we do not waste our big-fish time. My big-fish time was to go through a divorce as a Christian. What is your big-fish time called?
The Lord wants to reach those in Nineveh. The Lord's message is for Jonah to get up, arise, and tell everyone the message the Lord gives him to preach.
Jonah was not to preach his own ideas but to preach the Lord's words. This is how the Lord takes and ordinary man, with all his faults, and uses them to reach a great city full of wickedness and violence.
Story time again: In the early days of my walk with the Lord the Lord called me to the streets of Lompoc, California. Even with all my faults the Lord continued t ...
