What comes to your mind when you think of the book of Exodus? Burning bushes, parting the red sea, 10 commandments, plagues?
Due to the Popularity of movies like - The 10 Commandments, Prince of Egypt, and God's and Kings. American's typically skip right to the ''good part''
There is however much more to the story than meets the eye. Right out of the gate we see - Partial birth abortion, Racial turmoil, Gender issues, Government over reach, immigration issues, and the worst pandemic the world has experienced to date.
Let's take a moment and get our cultural bearings.
A great plague has swept across the entire world killing over 151 Million humans and in nations like India that rate continues to increase.
Our southern boarder has been labeled a crisis by President Biden.
Issues of Gender fluidity have effected everything from the definition of marriage to little league baseball.
Racial and Ethnic controversies lead the news now more than they did in the 60's
With the shifting of the balance of the Supreme Court - the issue of Abortion once again rages.
One might wonder why we would turn our attention to The book of Exodus chronicles events that took place well over 3000 years ago in the year 1446BC, considering the cultural chaos of the modern age.
