A Call to GO (3 of 4)
Series: Go, Love, Serve

John 16:33
There are so many places in the Bible where God said... GO.
The first account of God speaking the word ''Go'' was in Genesis chapter 7 when He told Noah to GO into the ark. He later told Abram to GO to the land He would show him. He told Moses to GO and bring the Israelites out of Egypt.
Jesus also used the word ''GO'' several times in the New Testament.
In [Mark 10:21] Jesus told the rich young ruler, Go, sell all you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.''
In [Mark 10:52] Jesus told a blind man, ''Go, your faith has saved you.'' Immediately he could see and began to follow Jesus on the road.
In [Mark 16:15] we see some of the final words Jesus spoke to His disciples before ascending into the clouds-he said to them, ''Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.''
There's always been a theme of GOING with God and God's people.
Noah. Abraham. Moses. The rich young ruler. The blind man. The Samaritan woman. The disciples. ME in my life... You in your life! We've all, perhaps, heard God say... GO! He's said... Trust me. Believe in me. Have faith in me. Follow me.
But what we've seen over the past few weeks is... even when God clearly says GO... even when He makes it crystal clear and supernaturally opens doors... even when God claims the victory ahead of time... and tells us ''all you have to do is move forward... all you have to do is GO... By Faith... and trust me...'' ...that does mean that GOING will be EASY. Right?
There will always be difficulties along the way for those who walk by faith, just like Jesus warned us.
In [John 16:33] Jesus promised, ''In this world you will have trouble.'' And many of us have experienced that trouble and those obstacles in our lifetime. Many of you may be experiencing those troubles today... right now!
Not too long ago, we were talking about facing obstacles ...
