Psalm 139:7-10
Introduction
Biblical Jonah was trying to run from the call of God on his life. Let us slip on his sandals and walk with him on his journey. As you read this story make it personal; become Jonah and let us take this journey with Jonah.
Jonah tried to run to another country to escape the call of God in his life. No one can outrun the Lord. The Psalmist wrote:
Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Or where can I flee from Your presence?
If I ascend into heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in [c]hell, behold, You are there.
If I take the wings of the morning,
And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
Even there Your hand shall lead me,
And Your right hand shall hold me. (Psalm 139:7-10)
The Lord knew, which ocean Jonah was in. The Lord knew which boat he was on. The Lord knew, which bunkbed he was sleeping on. The Lord knew what fish Jonah in. There is nowhere you or I can run too, where we escape the Lord's presence. Are ready to join this scriptural journey with Jonah?
