The Most High! (1 of 4)
Series: Snapshots of Who God Is

Psalm 91:1
The Bible has so many different but divine ways of proclaiming God or presenting God in scripture. Often the scripture uses anthropomorphic words or phrases to give us a personal view of God.
That word anthropomorphic is a big word, but it has a mini or micro meaning. Second Chronicles says that the eyes of the Lord roams to and fro on the Earth.
Job said He numbers the hairs on his head and that He counts his steps.
Genesis says that Enoch walked with God.
Isaiah says, who has the arm of the Lord been revealed.
Hands, eyes, numbers (fingers), walking, arm, anthropomorphic terms to help us connect to God at our level of humanness.
