''Look, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of Him. So shall it be! Amen.'' Revelation 1:7 (NIV)

The two phases of Christ's return are the rapture and the second coming.

''Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great Euphrates River, and it dried up so that the kings from the east could march their armies toward the west without hindrance. And I saw three evil spirits that looked like frogs leap from the mouths of the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet. They are demonic spirits who work miracles and go out to all the rulers of the world to gather them for battle against the Lord on that great judgment day of God the Almighty. The Battle of Armageddon is better understood as a campaign that extends over the last half of the tribulation period.

The Greek word in Revelation 16:14 for ''battle'' is ''polemos'' signifying a war or campaign


The location of the Campaign is in the Valley of Megiddo.


The events leading to the Battle of Armageddon are described in Revelation 5 - 19 as a series of divine judgments on the earth during the Great Tribulation Period.
